The Structured OJT Activity Checklist lists down all the processes and tasks that the Trainee should perform during the prescribed period. This form ensures that the branch coach is able to:
Record the date when the actual hands-on was performed by the Trainee.
Assign the actual hands-on practice to the Trainee whenever the process is at peak and available (e.g. if the trainee arrives at the training branch at the time when the billing reports are generated, the branch/unit coach may assign the Trainee to experience the reports generation process before the loans application/ assessment process for example, to rationalize his learning process and provide for a more meaningful and intuitive experience.
Closely supervise the actual navigation of the system. The branch/unit coach must sit beside the trainee while he or she is accessing the system. The trainee must not be left unsupervised particularly when navigating the system.
Indicate in the spaces below if the actual transaction/ process was not experienced by the Trainee. However, the branch coach should ensure that the process is discussed and a simulation with role-playing is performed in the branch/ unit only in the remote case when certain topics could not be demonstrated to the Trainee during his whole stay in the branch.
